Editing Your First Armour Stand
Learn how to use the Armour Stand Editor interface to modify your selected armour stand.
Editing Your First Armour Stand
Once you've selected an armour stand, the Armour Stand Editor will open, allowing you to customise almost every aspect of that armour stand through an easy-to-use graphical interface.
This guide introduces the editor and explains how to begin making your first changes.
Opening the Editor
After selecting an armour stand using your Editor Book, the editor opens automatically.
If you close the editor without changing your selection, you can reopen it by interacting with the selected armour stand again using your Editor Book.
What Can Be Edited?
HS Armour Stand Editor allows you to customise several parts of an armour stand directly from the editor.
- Move the armour stand.
- Rotate the armour stand.
- Edit the pose of individual body parts.
- Equip items and armour.
- Change appearance options such as arms, size and the base plate.
- Undo and redo previous changes.
Making Changes
Simply click the buttons inside the editor to perform the desired action.
Most changes are applied immediately, allowing you to see the results in real time while the editor is open.
Small adjustments often produce the most natural-looking armour stand poses.
Equipment
The editor includes equipment slots that allow you to equip items directly onto the selected armour stand.
Simply place items into the appropriate slots to equip them, or remove items to unequip them.
Undo & Redo
If you make a mistake while editing, use the Undo and Redo controls to move backwards and forwards through your recent changes.
This makes it easy to experiment with different poses and positions without losing your work.
Closing the Editor
Once you're happy with your changes, simply close the inventory.
Your changes remain applied to the armour stand and no additional save button is required.
